Step 1

Today is all about finding out exactly where you are right now. Try not to judge yourself for what comes up, simply notice it. It’s all information that we can use later.


Now that we know how you feel, it’s time to start to explore where some of that might have come from for you.

Step 2


Before you listen to today’s track, take a few moments to sit with these questions.


Don’t rush. Let your answers surprise you. This is about honesty, not judgment.

Where in your life do you feel the tightest?
The places, situations, or people that make you brace, tense up, hold your breath or shut your heart. Where does your body feel like armour?

What story are you telling yourself that makes you feel you have to stay guarded?
Who or what taught you that it wasn’t safe to let your guard down? Is that still true now?

Who or what are you still protecting yourself from, and what might happen if you softened that protection just a little?
What part of you still thinks you’ll be hurt if you’re softer?

How does staying ‘hard’ or guarded serve you? What does it help you avoid feeling?
There’s no shame in this - just notice what your mind believes it gets from staying closed.

What would it feel like, just for today, to lay down some of that armour and let softness come back in?
What might feel more possible if you could trust yourself again?
